Unless you are a complete (and I do mean "complete") novice that has absolutely no clue about blender this book is not for you. If you are looking to improve your current blender skills, this book is still not for you. The author covers the basics of most elements of Blender 3D without going into great detail, even the example use simple primitives such as cubes and Icospheres that will leave you clueless on how to tackle complicated geometries or models. An example would be UV unwrapping, the subject is covered in just one short paragraph when it actually merits a full chapter. Having said that it's not all bad, perhaps as a quick reference book to reach for when you forget something (right now I use it as a coaster). Personally I think the book is overpriced and overrated for what it offers as you can find tutorials (with greater detail) on all aspects of Blender 3D on the internet, all of which are free.
